Israel withdraws support for FIFA president Gianni Infantino's re-election
The Israel Football Association officially withdrew its support for FIFA president Gianni Infantino's re-election in a letter signed by IFA head Moshe Zuares, citing an "unprecedented crisis of confidence". Opposition to Infantino has hardened after he sacked chief operating officer Kevin Lamour, who had criticised the World Cup rights sell-off plan.
