Polish Labour Inspectorate launches 100+ inspections after 690 complaints over bogus contracts

Since 8 July, Poland's State Labour Inspectorate (PIP) has received 690 complaints about the improper use of civil-law contracts instead of employment contracts. Inspectors have launched more than 100 inspections and issued 121 written orders requiring employers to convert civil-law contracts into standard employment contracts.
