Throwing out an old mop? Each part goes in a different bin

A worn-out mop must be sorted by material: a dirty fabric head goes into general waste, a plastic handle into the yellow plastics bin, and a metal one into the metals container. Steam mops contain electronics and must be taken to a dedicated e-waste collection point (PSZOK). The most common mistake is tossing the entire mop into one bin.
