Naughty Dog artificially lengthened Uncharted to justify its $60 price tag

Naughty Dog has revealed that the original Uncharted was deliberately padded out, as without artificial lengthening it would have taken only around five hours to complete. The studio was concerned that charging $60 for such a short single-player game with no multiplayer mode would anger players. The solution they chose was controversial and frustrating for some.
