Driving examiners lobbied for rule change — now candidates are failing unfairly because of it
A 2024 change to Poland's driving test regulations was meant to protect candidates and move away from mechanical grading. Driving examiners themselves lobbied for the reform, but after a rigid error table was reinstated, they began applying it strictly. As a result, growing numbers of candidates are now failing their tests for minor mistakes that would previously have been overlooked.
