Puma spotted in Lower Silesia forests — foresters warn hikers

The Świdnica Forest District has published a camera-trap photo confirming the presence of a puma in forests near Zagórze Śląskie and Michałkowa in Lower Silesia. Foresters issued an urgent warning urging residents and tourists to exercise extreme caution when walking in the area. The puma is a non-native species with no natural population in Poland.
