One in three leisure travel dollars goes to Europe, with the south leading

One third of all global leisure travel spending in 2025 went to Europe, according to data from the World Travel and Tourism Council. Southern Europe attracted the largest share of that spending. The figures confirm Europe's position as the world's top tourism destination despite shifting economic and geopolitical conditions.
