Poland's budget deficit has reached 141 billion złoty, while annual debt interest payments stand at 90 billion złoty and are set to grow further. Piotr Arak, chief economist at VeloBank and former head of the Polish Economic Institute, described the figures as "terrifying". The Finance Ministry insists the situation is under control, but economists warn of serious fiscal risks.
