Polish prosecutors flag suspicious delay in Romanowski's letter sent from Transnistria
National Prosecution Office spokesman Przemysław Nowak revealed that a letter from Marcin Romanowski, requesting a safe-conduct pass, is dated July 11 or 12 but was sent from Transnistria two weeks later. Prosecutors say the significant gap between signing and dispatch raises suspicion that the document was physically delivered there by someone for the purpose of posting it. The case concerns the former deputy minister's attempt to secure a guarantee allowing him to return to Poland without immediate arrest.
