Patrick Vieira appointed as Senegal's new national football manager

Patrick Vieira, Arsenal legend and World Cup winner with France, has been appointed head coach of the Senegal national football team. This is his first role as a national team manager. He replaces Pape Thiaw, who was dismissed following the 2026 World Cup.
