US and Syria condemn Israeli airstrikes on military base in Idlib

Israel struck the Abu al-Duhur airbase in Syria's Idlib province, roughly 70 kilometres from the Turkish border, without officially claiming responsibility. Both Syria and US envoy Tom Barrack condemned the strikes, with Barrack calling them an "unnecessary escalation." Israel has not commented publicly on the operation.
