Bezos consortium acquires nearly 40% stake in Liverpool FC

A consortium including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has purchased close to 40% of Liverpool FC from Fenway Sports Group. The deal ranks among the largest transactions in English club football history. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
