Demand for mortgage loans jumped 22% year-on-year in July

In July, banks and credit unions sent the Credit Information Bureau (BIK) mortgage enquiries worth 22% more than a year earlier, BIK reported. The number of applicants also rose compared with the previous year. The figures point to a clear recovery in Poland's mortgage market.
