Storms batter Poland — over 1,100 fire brigade callouts in one day

Violent storms swept across Poland on Monday, prompting 1,124 callouts by the State Fire Service nationwide. The highest number of incidents was recorded in the Silesian, Lower Silesian and Lesser Poland voivodeships. Car owners in the worst-hit areas are assessing damage to their vehicles.
