Russia reportedly reviving Stalin's "Not One Step Back" order against its own troops

Stalin's wartime Order No. 227 — "Not One Step Back!" — ordered barrier troops to shoot at soldiers who attempted to retreat. Reports suggest the Kremlin is now applying the same lethal tactic against its own troops fighting in Ukraine, with barrier units reportedly firing on soldiers who try to withdraw or halt an assault.
