Apple admits it may earn zero commission from alternative app stores

Apple has put forward a more modest commission proposal for third-party app store sales, but admitted in new regulatory filings that it may ultimately earn no commission at all from such sales. The company came under pressure after its aggressive commission stance caused difficulties in the long-running Epic Games lawsuit. The revised proposal is Apple's attempt to satisfy the judge overseeing the case.
