Ukraine wants third party to fund MiG modernisation, not Poland

Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Bodnar, said on RMF FM that Kyiv needs funds to modernise Polish MiG jets before they could be used in combat, and indicated Poland is not necessarily expected to foot the bill. Negotiations are ongoing over Ukrainian drones that Poland would receive in exchange. A former ambassador described the revelation as surprising.
