Jan Frycz, acclaimed Polish actor, dies aged 72

Jan Frycz, one of Poland's most celebrated stage, film and television actors, died on 15 August at his family home surrounded by loved ones. He was 72. Known for roles in films such as "Ślepnąc od świateł", "Pręgi" and "Pornografia", he also worked with prominent theatre directors including Jan Klata and Jerzy Jarocki. His death was confirmed by the National Theatre in Warsaw.
