From September 2026, new technical standards for buildings will take effect in Poland, introducing stricter acoustic insulation requirements, updated accessibility rules and new guidelines for photovoltaic installations. Rules governing fences, gates and barriers will also change. The regulations apply primarily to new construction and major renovations, not to existing buildings.
