France approves €12m budget for villages devastated by wildfires
The French government approved a special 12-million-euro budget to support towns hit by recent wildfires in the country's south. Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced additional measures including tax breaks for businesses affected by the disaster. He was earlier jeered by some residents during a visit to Le Porge, where 183 homes were destroyed by fire.
