Rodney Mims Cook Jr., the US official overseeing construction of a White House ballroom planned by Donald Trump, held secret talks with Kremlin representatives in St. Petersburg in June, the Financial Times reports. The mission was conducted informally and outside official diplomatic channels. Details of what was discussed have not been disclosed.
