Russian opposition politician sentenced to 11 years for criticising war in Ukraine

A court in Pskov sentenced Lev Shlosberg, deputy chairman of the liberal Yabloko party, to 11 years and one month in a penal colony for his critical statements about Russia's war against Ukraine. The verdict was reported by independent outlet Mediazona. Shlosberg had been one of the most prominent voices of Russia's opposition.
