Japan's MMX probe heads to Phobos to unlock the mystery of life on Earth

Japan's JAXA space agency is launching the MMX (Martian Moons eXploration) probe to Mars's moon Phobos. The mission will spend around three years in Martian orbit before landing on Phobos and collecting roughly 10 grams of surface dust. Scientists believe the samples could reveal how the Solar System formed and how water arrived on Earth. The probe will lift off from the Tanegashima Space Center.
