Summer hailstorm buries Chorzów streets in ice — clearance to take several days

On Monday a violent storm swept across much of Silesia, coating the streets and pavements of Chorzów in a thick layer of ice and hail. Residents described the summer scene as resembling a winter attack. City clean-up operations are expected to take several days.
