Demand for mortgage loans up 22% year-on-year, BIK data shows

Polish banks and credit unions submitted mortgage loan queries to the Credit Information Bureau (BIK) worth 22% more in July than in the same month a year earlier, according to the latest BIK data published on Tuesday. The sharp year-on-year rise signals a recovery in Poland's mortgage market.
