Shakira pledges $1.25m to rebuild schools destroyed by Colombia earthquake

Colombian singer Shakira will donate $1.25 million to rebuild schools in Colombia's earthquake-devastated Chocó region. The effort will be led by her Fundación Pies Descalzos foundation. The goal is to restart education in the area as quickly as possible.
