Polish green card holder detained by US ICE for nearly a year

Beata Siemionkowicz, a Polish citizen from Białystok and legal US green card holder, has been held in an ICE detention facility for nearly a year. Her daughters Klaudia and Gabrysia published an appeal and petition to Polish authorities, describing their mother's arrest in her own garden as "cruel and terrifying." The family is fighting for her release and return home.
