Storms lash Poland: 1,124 fire brigade call-outs, egg-sized hail, new weather warnings issued

Poland's State Fire Service recorded 1,124 call-outs related to violent weather events on Monday, with the heaviest activity in the south of the country. Firefighters reported hail the size of small eggs in some areas. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has issued fresh warnings for five voivodeships.
