GIS warning: toxin found in Nestlé infant formula batch — do not feed to infants
Poland's Chief Sanitary Inspectorate (GIS) has found cereulide — a toxin produced by Bacillus cereus bacteria — in one batch of Nestlé infant formula. The GIS urges consumers not to feed the product to children and to consult a doctor if they already have. As a precaution, Nestlé is also withdrawing a second batch of the same product from sale.
