One-time social assistance grant of up to 3,292 zł — who qualifies and how to apply

People unable to cover basic living expenses — including medicines, fuel or food — can apply for a one-time targeted social grant of up to 3,292 zł from local social welfare centres. The benefit can be awarded even to those who exceed the income threshold, if they face particularly difficult circumstances. Applications are submitted to the local social welfare office.
