Polish police raid waste mafia: gold bars, luxury cars and PLN 11m in assets seized

Police coordinated by the Regional Police Headquarters in Katowice dismantled an organised crime group running an illegal waste-trading operation. Raids on 31 sites uncovered gold bars, luxury cars, bundles of foreign currency, forged documents and hazardous chemicals. Two suspects were arrested and prosecutors secured assets worth more than PLN 11 million.
