Zambia's Hichilema wins re-election with 60% of the vote

Zambia's incumbent president Hakainde Hichilema has won re-election with around 60% of the vote, according to officials. The election was widely seen as a referendum on his first term, during which Zambia's economy returned to growth after years of fiscal distress.
