Cologne court rules travel agent not liable for fraudulent booking if agency contract was followed
A district court in Cologne has ruled that a travel agent who fulfilled the obligations set out in their agency contract cannot be held liable for the consequences of a fraudulent booking. In the case in question, the tour operator was ordered to refund the agent approximately 800 euro that had been wrongly charged.
