A futuristic automated ammunition factory built by the US at a cost of roughly half a billion dollars failed to produce a single round. Robots regularly caught fire or went out of control, a heavy hammer became a routine "repair" tool, and almost nothing worked as designed. No one has been held accountable for the costly failure.
