Polish scientists engineer improved probiotic with stronger protection against Salmonella

Polish researchers have genetically modified a probiotic strain to provide stronger protection against Salmonella infection. The modified probiotic demonstrated greater protective efficacy than the unmodified version. The study was conducted by Polish scientific teams.
