Polish Army tests Model 44 tank alongside Abrams and K2 deployments

The Polish Army is testing the Model 44 tank in a limited number of units while simultaneously fielding Abrams and K2 tanks in the 18th and 16th Divisions, with 58 tanks per battalion. Brigadier General Grzegorz Potrzuski, head of the Armed Forces Development Planning and Programming Board, explained in an interview with Defence24.pl how the two programmes are being reconciled. The roadmap also foresees future integration of drones alongside armoured units.
