Central Contract Register after one month: more transparency, but data gaps remain

Poland's Central Contract Register, operational since 1 July, has increased transparency around public spending. However, its first month of operation has also exposed problems with data quality, outdated entries and incomplete compliance with disclosure requirements by some institutions. The register is designed to be a tool for public oversight of government contracts.
