Deputy head of NFOŚiGW: Poles cut corners on waste sorting and overpay as a result
Paweł Augustyn, deputy head of Poland's National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, told Rzeczpospolita that Poles tend to cut corners when sorting waste. Without a change in approach, Poland will stay stuck and citizens will continue to overpay for waste management. Augustyn also pointed to the way waste issues are communicated as part of the problem.
