Poland currently has 1,950 km of motorways, leaving around 150 km still to be built to complete the planned network. The key missing sections are the eastward extension of the A2 and the Warsaw ring road A50. At the same time, work is beginning to widen the busiest stretches of the A1, A2 and A4 to boost capacity.
