Petlibro apologises for smart pet feeder outage after users accuse company of "gaslighting"

Petlibro CEO York Wu apologised in a blog post for a cloud server outage that left users unable to remotely control their smart pet feeders, with some reporting their pets went hungry as a result. The outage was first acknowledged on Tuesday at 5 am PT and declared resolved on Wednesday at 7 pm PT, but some users reported ongoing issues as late as August 13. Angry customers accused the company of "gaslighting" them by downplaying the severity of the problem.
