Expert after Hungary tragedy: pilgrim coach trips budgeted at 107,000 PLN leave under 20,000 PLN to spare

Following the coach tragedy in Hungary, expert Łukasz Wawrzeńczyk, head of Grupa Profika, analysed the economics of budget pilgrim coach trips. After paying for fuel, drivers, the coach, accommodation and insurance from a budget of over 107,000 PLN, less than 20,000 PLN remains for other costs. Wawrzeńczyk openly speaks of a "grey zone" operating in the pilgrimage industry.
