German drivers flood Zgorzelec for fuel — up to 2 złoty per litre cheaper than in Germany

German motorists are again crossing into Poland in large numbers to refuel in the border town of Zgorzelec, where fuel is up to 2 złoty per litre cheaper than in Germany. Long queues have formed at many petrol stations along the border. The phenomenon recurs whenever the price gap between the two countries widens significantly.
