Ukraine demands EU sanctions on Rosatom after safety scandal

Ukraine called on the European Union to impose sanctions on Russian state nuclear giant Rosatom. The appeal came hours after POLITICO published an investigation revealing allegations of serious safety and engineering failures at one of Rosatom's flagship projects. Kyiv is pressing Brussels to take action in response to the findings.
