Chemsex alarms psychiatrists as the phenomenon goes mainstream

Combining sex with psychoactive substances — known as chemsex — has existed for centuries but is now alarmingly widespread, according to psychiatrist and sexologist Dr. Michał Lew-Starowicz. Speaking to magazine "Sens", he warned of serious mental and physical health consequences. He highlighted risks including addiction and severe psychological complications linked to the practice.
