Russia sentences opposition leader Lev Shlosberg to over 11 years for criticising the war

Lev Shlosberg of the Yabloko party has been sentenced to over 11 years in a Russian penal colony for criticising the war in Ukraine. Speaking in court, he said: "A single person is imprisoned, yet fear seeps into the hearts of millions." The case is another instance of Russia's crackdown on opposition figures.
