Former KUL lecturer trains civil registry officials to refuse same-sex couples' transcriptions

Dr Piotr Kasprzyk, a former lecturer at the Catholic University of Lublin and editor-in-chief of the journal "Metryka", runs training sessions for civil registry officials on how to refuse transcription requests from same-sex couples. He dismisses the EU Court of Justice ruling on the matter as "incompetent" and aligns himself with Poland's Constitutional Tribunal. Kasprzyk insists he operates within the law while challenging the courts' interpretation.
