Russian opposition politician Lev Shlosberg sentenced to 11 years in a penal colony

Lev Shlosberg, deputy leader of Russia's liberal Yabloko party, has been sentenced to 11 years and one month in a penal colony for his opposition to the war in Ukraine. During the trial, the politician called the conflict a catastrophe for Russia and called for a ceasefire. Yabloko's press office said an appeal would be filed.
