Yabloko party deputy leader Lev Shlosberg jailed 11 years for opposing the war
A court in Pskov has sentenced Lev Shlosberg, deputy leader of Russia's liberal Yabloko party, to 11 years and one month in a penal colony. He was convicted of "discrediting" the Russian army and spreading "false information" about Moscow's invasion of Ukraine. The verdict has been condemned as evidence of the collapse of the Russian justice system.
