Polish army considers converting outdated BWP-1 infantry vehicles into unmanned platforms

Brigadier General Grzegorz Potrzuski, in an interview with Defence24 editor-in-chief Jędrzej Graf, raised the possibility of converting obsolete BWP-1 infantry fighting vehicles into unmanned combat platforms for the Polish army. The idea would repurpose vehicles being phased out rather than scrapping them. No details of a formal programme were given.
