Raytheon wins $22.9bn contract to boost Tomahawk output to over 1,000 missiles a year

Raytheon has been awarded a $22.9 billion contract to dramatically scale up production of Tomahawk cruise missiles for the US Navy. Annual output is set to rise to over 1,000 missiles, up from just 60 per year currently. Raytheon described the deal as a landmark agreement.
